Dear Colleagues, please find enclosed the first issue of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Newsletter.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has recently been given the go-ahead to take responsibility for the £850million NHS budget for Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and parts of Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. The CCG will become a statutory organisation from 1 April when we can begin in earnest our task to improve local health services. The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group aims to work with local people including patients, carers and their representatives as well as with other partner organisations to ensure local health services meet the needs of the local population.
